The Robinson family’s journey began when they decided to expand their family and their living space. With their six-year-old son, Mathias, and a baby on the way, they moved from a small rented apartment to a larger home in a remote area, where they planned to start a farm. One of their first dreams after settling in was to adopt a dog—a goal they couldn’t fulfill while living in their previous no-pets-allowed apartment.

To their horror, they discovered that the baby had stopped breathing. Acting quickly, they rushed her to the hospital. There, doctors confirmed that Benson’s quick actions had saved the baby’s life. Without his alert, the outcome could have been tragic.
Reflecting on the night, Mrs. Robinson was overwhelmed by the thought that the dog she had rescued from the shelter had, in turn, rescued her daughter. Benson, once an unwanted and mistreated stray, had become a hero in their lives.
